Hoover Dam

Took a little trip and got to see the Hoover Dam. It is a marvel of engineering, if you are in the area I would suggest a visit to the dam to have a look. The sheer scale of it is awe inspiring and the story behind the construction of it is interesting as well.

I'll post a few more pictures at the bottom of this post. Go online and do a search on the Hoover Dam and read up on the history and the engineering scale of the entire project. The dam was finished two years ahead of schedule, just one of the things that I learned on the guided tour.
